Hello readers,
I spent a lot of time thinking about how to say this. I wanted it to feel emotional or poetic, but I think I just can't. So here I go, just writing things I wanted you guys to know. The funny thing is, I don't think this story feels finished to me.
Barkha and Aaditya walked out of that temple and towards the rest of their lives. Somewhere in my mind, they are still arguing. They still have countless days ahead of them- beautiful days, terrible days, quiet days, loud days, days filled with love, arguments, laughter, mistakes, forgiveness, and everything that makes life worth living.
But the story I wanted to tell ends here.
And somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like just one story and started feeling like a whole world. A world filled with princes, warriors, friends, enemies, kingdoms, and countless people whose stories are still waiting to be told.
For now, I am calling this world "The Ancient Saga".
May be there story will become another book. Maybe a sequel. Maybe something completely unexpected. We will figure that out together.
For now, thank you.
Thank you for giving this story your time
Thank you for reading a chapter, page, paragraph, or even a single line.
Every reader means more than I can properly express, and if you are reading these words right now, then you have already become a part of this journey.
If you enjoyed the story, I would love to know what you thought. Your favourite moments, favourite characters, scenes you loved, scenes you hated, theories, complaints, compliments... I would love to hear all of it.
As for me, I think I have already decided whose story I want to tell next.
My personal favourite from the book has always been Commander Hriday. In fact, that's exactly why I named him Hriday... because he ended up becoming very close to my heart while writing this story.
Which is funny because he's probably uninterested in almost everything around him.
Everything around him is busy falling in love, starting wars, making plans, changing kingdoms, and he somehow stands in the middle of all of it, looking like he'd rather be somewhere else.
And yet, I can't stop wondering about him.
What kind of story belongs to a man who seems to want nothing? What could possibly shake someone so detached? What makes a man like that stay, fight, care, or maybe even fall in love?
I don't know yet.
But I want to find out.
In short, it's not the end; it's the beginning of what I'm calling The Ancient Saga.
And I will most probably write a bonus chapter for Barkha and Aditya as well.
For now, goodbye.🫀
See you in the next story.
Until then, just be happy....
