A Note Before You Begin

This is a work of fiction, and the story you are about to read comes entirely from imagination.

Lord Shiva holds a deeply sacred and revered place in the hearts of millions, and I have approached His presence in this story with that respect in mind. The Shiva who appears throughout the story is not meant to be a representation of Lord Shiva or of how He is understood or worshipped by devotees.

He exists within the protagonist's personal experience and within the fictional world of this novel. What she sees, hears, believes, and eventually comes to understand is a part of her story, not a statement about faith, religion, or the divine.

I have written this story with affection for its characters and with sincere respect for the beliefs and traditions that inspired parts of it. If you choose to read it, I hope you will see it for what it is: a fictional story about love, faith, perception, and learning to listen to oneself.

No disrespect, offence, or harm to any religion, deity, community, tradition, or individual is intended. The story explores a fictional character's perception, emotions, faith, love, and relationship with her own mind—not the nature or validity of any religious belief.

The events and interpretations in this novel should not be taken as religious, medical, or psychological claims.

The author acknowledges and respects the religious significance of Lord Shiva and the traditions associated with Him.

And most importantly, no disrespect to Lord Shiva or any faith or community is intended.

With respect,
The Author

Dear stranger, if this story found you, read it once before leaving. Just read one page. Sometimes that's all a story needs.
