A young woman working at an IT company in Gurgaon is living a painfully ordinary life—work, traffic, deadlines, family, repeat—until one Shivaratri, she meets Lord Shiva. Yes. Lord Shiva. At first, she assumes she's imagining things. But Shiva keeps appearing, talking to her, guiding her through everyday problems, and eventually delivering the most absurd piece of advice she could have received: "He's the one. Your destiny has already chosen him." The problem? He is the last man she would ever choose. He is just a guy she has met a handful of times, usually while arguing with him. He isn't particularly interested in her, she isn't particularly impressed by him, and she certainly doesn't see anything remotely romantic about their relationship. But Shiva won't let it go. Convinced that he is her destined half, she reluctantly decides to give the idea a chance. And once she does, there is no going back. What follows is a wildly unconventional mission to make a completely uninterested man fall in love with her—with disastrous plans, embarrassing attempts, unexpected moments, and plenty of chaos along the way. But somewhere between trying to make him fall for her and actually getting to know him, she begins falling for him herself. And then things become complicated. Because Shiva isn't just helping her find love anymore. He's becoming a part of it. As her relationship with him grows, Shiva's presence begins creating chaos between them, raising questions neither of them knows how to answer. Will he ever fall for her? Will she discover what Shiva sees in him? And when the man, her supposed perfect half eventually finds out that the mysterious man influencing their relationship is Lord Shiva—or at least the Shiva she believes she sees—what will he think of the woman he is falling in love with? A chaotic romantic comedy about an ordinary girl, an extraordinary matchmaker, one very confused man, and a love story that was never supposed to make sense.
